We encourage prospective members to visit our local Rotary meetings held each Thursday noon at Shade on the Canal Restaurant at 17 S. High Street in Canal Winchester (43110 zip).

                          What's Does Rotary Membership Require?

Service - Rotary's motto around the globe is Service Above Self.

Attendance - Rotarians commit to attend more than two weekly meetings each month. You can make up a meeting at over 20 Rotary clubs in central Ohio each week and even online. Service projects, committee meetings and board meetings also count as a make up so you have many flexible ways to stay on top of attendance.

Participation - Each club member is asked to help with annual fundraiser projects, to serve on a committee, to participate in local service projects and to rotate in to club leadership positions.

Costs - Annual dues currently run at about $125 payable in June of each year-$85 of the annual dues is paid to support opeartions of Rotary International and our local Rotary District 6690 (about 60 Rotary clubs in central and southeast Ohio . Weekly meals at our Canal Winchester club cost $8.00. Rotarians around the globe are encouraged to voluntarily support the Rotary Foundation at $100 annually when possible.

Membership - As a new Rotary club, our main emphasis for a few years will be to expand our membership with a target of 35 members. We need every member's help to achieve this goal.
