Rotary's 4-Way Test
The Object of Rotary
The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do...
1.Is it the TRUTH?
2.Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3.Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4.Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned .
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
•FIRST - The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
•SECOND - High ethical standards in business and professions
•THIRD - The ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life
•FOURTH - The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace
Celebrating our 5th Club Anniversary in 2014
Message from President John Kershner -- Throughout the coming Rotary year, my goal is to continue the good work the Club has achieved so far. I hope that we are able to accomplish one meeting per month at other locations, such as Mott's, Groveport Town Hall, Hidden Lakes, and the Corvette Museum, among others. As a result of our successful fundraising projects during last Rotary year, we are able to increase our Literacy Initiative from $1500 to $2500, which we hope will result in an even broader impact on the lives of the students in our communities, and we will continue to look for an opportunity to participate in a service project with a Rotary partner overseas.
Many Thanks to Past President Catherine Roebuck and her team for a year of growth in membership, fund raising and service, and welcome President John!
